Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of mercierprototype.com and any order you place through it. The site is operated by Mercier Prototype Watch Co LLC, Kalispell, Montana. By using the site or ordering, you accept these terms. Last updated 22 August 2026.
Orders and pre-orders
- Manx is in the final assembly stage of production and ships in late December. Reservations made with a $200 deposit ship once the remaining balance is paid, and deposits remain refundable at any point before your watch ships.
- Every piece is individually numbered and produced in a capped run, so quantities are limited.
- An order confirmation is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or a price was listed in error — and we will refund you in full if we do.
- Checkout is hosted by Shopify. Prices are in US dollars, shipping within the United States is free, and applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.
Every 7th Order Refund Promotion
The offer. Every 7th qualifying order placed on mercierprototype.com is refunded in full, after it ships and the 30-day return window closes with the order kept. The refund covers the amount paid for the watch and any accessories on that order and is paid to the original payment method. It is a refund, not a discount code, and nothing is taken off at checkout. The promotion runs from October 28, 2026 until 11:59 PM Central Time on December 31, 2026. Only orders placed and paid within that period count. Orders that count toward a refunded spot are still confirmed and refunded after the end date under the rules below.
How orders are counted.
- Orders are counted in the order they are placed and paid. Our count is final.
- Only qualifying orders count. An order that is cancelled, refunded, returned in full, fails payment, is flagged for fraud, or breaks these terms is removed from the count, and later orders keep their place in line behind the remaining orders.
- Orders 7, 14, 21 and every further multiple of 7 are refunded orders, counted once earlier orders have settled.
- A Passage pre-order counts only once the full balance is paid.
- A qualifying order is a single paid order for Mercier Prototype products, shipped to a US address, placed by a retail customer for personal use.
When the refund is paid. A refunded order is confirmed only after it has shipped and the 30-day return window has ended with the order kept in full. We email you when your order is confirmed and aim to send the refund within 14 days of confirmation. If you return part of the order, the refund covers only what you kept. If you return it in full, it is no longer a refunded order and you receive only the normal refund under our Return Policy.
No gaming the count. This promotion is for customers buying watches they intend to keep. The following are not allowed:
- Placing several orders so that one lands on the 7th spot, then cancelling or returning the others.
- Placing orders for friends, family or associates, or using different names, emails, addresses, accounts or payment methods, to shape the count.
- Cancelling, refunding or returning orders in a pattern that moves a particular order into a 7th slot.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes on any order used to change the count, or using automation to manipulate orders or timing.
We may review order history, payment details, addresses and account details to detect this. If we find it, we may, acting reasonably, remove the affected orders from the count, disqualify the customer and related accounts, decline the refund, and cancel orders that break these terms with a refund of the amount paid for them.
Limits. Each person, household, address or payment method can receive one refund during the promotion, and only the first 3 orders from any one customer count toward the sequence. The refund has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and can be combined with other offers such as the free bracelet with a Manx. The promotion is open to US residents aged 18 or over, and not to our employees, contractors or their immediate family. Void where prohibited.
Changes. We may change, pause or end the promotion at any time. Orders placed before a change keep counting under the terms that applied when they were placed. Questions: Devin@mercierprototype.com.
Returns, exchanges and warranty
Return any watch within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, in new and unworn condition with its box and numbered papers. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility and there is no restocking fee. Full detail is on our Return Policy page.
Every Mercier carries a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects, set out on the Warranty page. It does not cover accidental damage, normal wear, or work done by an unauthorised watchmaker.
Product descriptions and imagery
We publish our specifications openly, including the movement. We work hard to describe and photograph each piece accurately, but screens vary and finishes catch light differently — small differences between a photograph and the watch on your wrist are not a defect. If a listing contains an error, we will correct it and honour the remedy above.
Reviews you submit
Reviews must be your own honest experience of a product you own or have handled. By submitting a review and any photographs you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and display them on this site and in our marketing, credited by first name and last initial. We verify reviews before publishing and may decline or remove ones we cannot verify or that contain unlawful or abusive content. We do not edit a review's substance in exchange for anything, and we do not pay for reviews.

Nothing here limits liability we cannot limit by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
