What is Manx?
An everyday-luxury automatic watch from Mercier Prototype, Belgian-designed, veteran-owned, and individually numbered, with a Japan-made automatic movement.
Is it automatic or quartz?
Fully automatic. It runs on a self-winding Miyota Cal. 9122 with a roughly 42-hour power reserve, no battery.
What size is the case, and will it fit me?
42mm diameter, 51mm lug-to-lug, on a 22mm strap. It wears true to size, and the strap comes in two lengths: Standard fits 6.5–7.3 inch wrists, Extra Large fits 7.5–9.1 inch wrists — if you are between sizes, choose Extra Large.
Is it water resistant?
Yes, 10 ATM, fine for everyday wear, swimming and snorkeling, though not deep-sea diving.
What crystal does it use?
A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, set in a 316L steel case finished in black PVD.
What dial options are there?
Two: the Noir, a blacked-out dial, and the Blanc, a crisp white dial. Both share the same case and movement.
When does Manx ship?
It ships October 31, 2026. The first run is capped and individually numbered.
Can I pay over time?
Yes, Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay and Cash App Pay are available at checkout, alongside card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
How does the $200 reservation deposit work?
Not ready to pay in full? Reserve your Manx — and your individually assigned serial number — with a $200 deposit. It's credited in full toward the $795 price, and the $595 balance is invoiced before your watch ships on October 31, 2026. The deposit is fully refundable any time before shipment, and transferable between colorways.
Do you offer a military or first responder discount?
Yes, 10% off for active and veteran military, first responders, and law enforcement, verified through ID.me / GovX. Once verified you'll receive a single-use code to enter at checkout. Contact us if you need a hand.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Payments are processed securely by Shopify checkout — Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Affirm, Klarna & more. We never see or store your card details.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. You can cancel any time before it ships for a full refund.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States only. We hope to open up international shipping down the road, email us if you'd like to be kept posted.
How much does shipping cost, and is there tax?
Shipping is free within the United States, and every order is tracked and insured to your door. Any applicable sales tax is applied when your order ships.
What is your return policy?
Return within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, in like-new condition with the box and numbered papers. See Return Policy.
Can I exchange dials?
Yes, we're happy to swap Noir for Blanc, or the reverse, subject to availability.
What warranty comes with Manx?
Every Mercier is backed by a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing and movement defects. See Warranty.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email Devin@mercierprototype.com with your order number and the serial number engraved on the caseback.
